dude jeto baba... when the all so called nike manufacturing unit of india post some light humour stuff..then not one says lighten up...u putting on weight hehe some shit.... and when our detox baba wearing a 'greek flag?' with artist label,or record label...delhi oldtimer..or watever tat brand tag it is...says shit...tat too racist...or his shoe rival bitching comment... u say lighten up? suddenly the old members of the forum(not all) are tryin to show they r the real ppl...and their views is theeee holy grail. now who is triggering the birth of spammers? shame on all the indian mods for putting up with this and supporting fellow oldtimer brotherhoods.

Im not convinced closing the section is going to help though... what ur going to have now is 100, 18 yr old boys with too much time on their hands, buggering up the rest of isratrance.. atleast b4 they were contained to a few rubbish threads in the india section, now i feel they are going to spread like wildfire and ruin the rest of this place... just a thought... i hope im wrong
A good thing abt the section being closed is obvious.. the police have been tracking isratrance for a while, and its good to know that atleast now, were not handing them info on a fucking platter... a lot of great threads (autobiography of a yogi) etc are lost for the time being, hopefully we as a community can work together to get our home thread back.. im sure its not impossible... but it will take restraint from some of us, in what we say and how u say it... its a well known fact that most people in the indian section are really nice great likeminded freaks, and unfortuantely moondust or whatever as someone else said, have brought these monkeys into isratrance, and judging by their attitude here, they are a bunch of kids, so lets not let them get the better of us...

Some people you see cant handle democracy and they only realise how important freedom of speech is only when they loose it.
but in a true democracy u would never lose ur right to free speech... u would elect someone (mods) to keep the streets clean, but at the same time let the rest of the population carry on living, because thats what democracy is abt...
So, im pleading with u guys, lets get the section back, lets hope this scare tactic works. and people realise that they are buggering things for alot of people... and more so, let us as indians stand proud, and not embaress ourselves... and think.. for every action there is a reaction...
come on, lets sort this crap out...

no i dont, because i have read otherposts by him, and he seems like a chilled dude, and funny too, but in respects to this thread, yes i think his comment was condesending and racist.. but us being indians, are used to this type of prejudice and so we can forgive and forget..
i hope isratrance can do the same
@ yidam - i really get ur vibe bro, and i respect the fact u can laugh things off so easily, so can i usually, but what detox said hit a nerve for the simple fact that as an indian who has lived abroad for over half his life ive had to deal with prejudices like this alot, and as opposed to trying to end a comment with a slur like that i wished people could debate an issue as opposed to jumping to pre meditated prejudices... |
