i agree with el es dee .. where will the party threads go ??
wat about info abt whole goa scene , moondust etc
we can not even start a new topic also .. its not a right decision ... not only 4 indians ... what about all other people who travel 2 india .. wat about new / old party lovers ... i must say india section has the biggest section of info also ..
& just because of few freaks who bullshit on forum you want to lock the whole section .. only read mode .. how dumb ....
why not make 1 moderator specially to check users /id's ...who ever spam .. he will be blocked or deleted within 1 hour ...
i can do that .. i spend 24-7 on internet doin my work .. i can take this job .. but only taking care of spamming users .. nothing else .

all i want to say is........ i understand where all this is comming from...... we on the indian section hve misused wat we had n now wen it's taken away we shouldnt complain...... i feel sad though as being an indian living out of da country, the indian section was the only way to actually keep a track of the trance scene back home..... gonna miss a few threads...... but we all will have to made do...... i urge the indian users not to now make a mess of other sections as den india is permenantly getting blocked n deleted...........

Blocking IP's is not a solution.
Most of us know it's not that hard to redirect through a proxy.
I really don't see any 'spamming' on the Indian section.
By 'spamming' I mean users/bots promoting porno n shite like that.
Sure the Indian section in recent days was filled with many 'Childish', 'immature' and whateveyoucallit kinda threads, but that's nothing new. Was going through the old threads; no offence n all, but I really don't see any hardcore sense that was spoken back then either. Infact, I even went to the extent of reviving those threads and was later on asked to behave by the mods. Wonder why they weren't locked back then.
We all could get philosohical about stuff like what's a 'mature' discussion and stuff like that.... but hey! 
Anyway, disappointed that this thing happend. I really didn't see any evil on the forum. Have met some really interesing people on this forum, Such diversity, amazing humour, too bad some people don't appreciate it.
I understand that this forum is a baby to many of its users. A lot of them take it seriously, but there are many of us who have a life apart form psy. Psy for me is just a recreational thing, nothing serious.
Anyway, here's my confession:
I'm guilty of starting offtopic threads.
I'm guilty of posting irrelevant responses.
I'm guilty of having a sense of humour.
I apologise if my doings have offended anyone. Was really lovely connecting with all you folks.
Hope the section revives!

Just because of a bunch of assholes you close the section down ... not done !! but thats what you say .. i havent seen any comments on the section that suggest (maybe one two a day ?) that users do not have a basic level of education etc and all this since you're trying to have some sort of 'quality control' ?? .. its a forum for ffs !!
Hunt them down and ban them instead of canning the section .. and yes tell me its easier said than done. Its your job !!

IMO, i think locking the section for once is good & it should be a learning for all the users who misuse the forum & should be an instance when they should really think about this & behave themselves & be on track.
I think the section should reopen & if we still see the misuers, they should be tracked & gunned down, banned.
I agree it would require some super moderation, hence the precious time of the Isra Mods but, do it for once & for all. Also i agree that moderation is not just 1 way, it has to be from users side as well, so it's pretty much feasible to reopen the section & track & ban the misusers.
I am dissapointed but hey can't lose my sense of humour, so will continue my spree of spreading humour & smiles, which may be offtopic sometimes but i think thats bearable?

Things can definately be done in a much more mature manner!!! So Isratrance should stop immitating the immature and childish behaviour of the so called spammers and go about this ISSUE in a better way!!!!

1. party threads can go in the 'party promotions' section, party reviews will go in the 'party reviews' section, party pics will go in the 'party galleries' section.

we truly apologise to the users who came here to share their time and thoughts with the community in a respectable manner.

this is not done.....don create more probs...find out the solution first...
one thing can b done....v can have paid membership (exclusive for india section) then v can filter the entire section....i m sure this ll help a lot in process of cleaning this section.
bt plz don do such silly things.......

Thank you all for feedback.
For the ones who can understand the positive side of this difficult decision: thank you for your trust and support.
For the ones who think it could be done in a different way: well, I and the mods tried very hard, if you read my posts on the Indian section you will see, I followed most of the suggestions given... We're dealing with this situation for more than an year...
Please read what was done and tried before you jump to conclusions.

^^ the time enough so things can settle down..
mates i have passed the same in the portuguese section..who is in this forum more than 2/3 years nows exactly what i am talking about..the bad users and the prevaricators left the forum, and things are very calm in the Iberian section - i know it is a hard situation, the section being only in read mode, but i am sure the ones who really love this forum, and the section understand the situation - we only want to have a better place to be at
the 3 mods of that section + the users (and all the non indian users also), only want the best for the section, belive me, and i am sure the read mode wasn´t an easy solution, but i am sure things will be solved, and that this anormal situation can teach us something.
