yeah, I know we have threads for leads, kicks and basses but how about a thread for random miscellaneous sounds.

alright, I'll ask first. Does anyone know how to synthesize the sound of a frog croaking?

Mess around with squelch sounds and you will get something similar.

actually if you use a saw wave (or another wave form with "sharp" freq. so to speak) and you are using a form of fm synthesis and using a filter and modulation of the pitch you can get pretty throaty froggy sounds.
