Have you in your life left your home country for good? Or at least for a long time, with no return plan?
Here is the place to share your story.

Unfortunatly I did... like many of us Lebanese did!
I left Lebanon 3 years ago because of the economic situation in my country. When I left, my dad told me that there might not be a return point! and I guess he was right! so sad though.
I have three brothers who have been living outside Lebanon for more than 20 years! even 25 years.
I don't think I will be back to Lebanon anytime soon, I miss it so much, but I am not ready to go back anytime soon.
the funny thing is that there 4 million people living in Lebanon and more than 12 million lebanese expatriates living outside! |

i left my home country for 6 years...was in the US for my undergrad education...though the program is 4 years...i took the van wilder route and kept flunking so it became a 6...i decided i did not want to do my laundry nor fix my bed in the morning, nor did i like doing dishes...i kept a maid for a while but the country required me to pay for her insurance, and $5 an hour...i therefore said i want to move either to an developed or 3rd world country so that i can get cheap labor to work for me...well now i am back home living off dad...as i feel if two men are working in the home there is bound to be an inherent ego clash...so i have sacrifised my worklife....

about 16 years ago, left my home in sarajevo, due to the war, going still there every year on holidays, but don't think could live there anymore.
after a while specially when you are in young age other places become your home. so i got a home in holland which I also left and lived couple of years in Spain where also had a "home" afterwards left it also for a new one in France, and again through Spain back to holland, so in last 16 years left and build new homes ..... probably in a while gonna do it again but out of europe
