It looks like this scene is eating itself up. Does anyone agree?

i disagree. NYC is on the way out of a hole... a hole created by various factors, factors like 9/11, the rave act, the fall of synthetic sadhus, and the unreliablity of other production organizations. I dont know, maybe its summer, maybe im delusional, but i feel a change... i feel its getting better... groups that were sworn foes are throwing parties together, that's a start, every movement needs that, even if its a small step. PsyFire, you wrote wisely in another thread here about the fact that we must wait and see, i beleive that is true but not entirely. i think that if we sit on our hands, nothing will happen for sure. the time is now, the energies are more positive in this city then before, more positive then in a long time, even uniting people behind an idea is something. good luck to NYC.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."
