I think nanotechnology has great potential. it's also kind of scary at the same time. But most new technologies are until people grow accustomed to them.

I think technologies like these and cybernetics (especially combined with electromagnetism etc.) and others are going to make commonplace things which in the past (and even today) people consider "magic", "paranormal" or "supernatural". Things like telepathy, telekinesis, superhuman attributes, and senses, consciousness projection, teleportation, and even shapeshifting, etc. will all in the very near future be readily available through this and similar forms of high technology.
