Hey people,

I just started producing and thought that there may be people like me who know how an effect sounds but don't know the term for it and hence can't actively participate in discussions.

I'll start with

What do you call the leads in which one note glides over another?

Is it called legato? i'm not sure.           Your life is yours to create

Portamento = The glide effect you speak of.

Legato = that one note ends excactly as the next begins, but not necessarily with the gliding effect.

Stacato = Short stabs          www.iono-music.com
