Hi guys, I was just wondering, it might be helpful to someone. If you guys want, I can upload some Logic projects from some tunes i made or still unfinished.
Maybe it can help some newcomers producers(not professionals since I don't think my stuff sounds very professional).
Anyway, i just uploaded on soundcloud a sample of a tune that i never finished that have some kind of the sounds ppl here are looking for I think.

layering , use the same midi with 2 or 3 different synth on top doing/adding their own things. wavetables synth with good modulation matrice are great (largo,massive,zebra..) ,granular synthesis is also great reaktor ..
imo fx chain matter a lot it s the key, fine tuning synth and fx toghther , as pads and soundscape without any fx are crap ,it s what make the sound really great, you can make a amazing soundscape just with noise and a fx chain.. or a amazing pad with just detuning 2 oscillators if the fxs are well tweaked ..

Any tips for using pads in the arrangement? Layering a melodic pad in the mix really glues things together and fills up the mix but keeping it muted also leaves things sounding more open and seems to increase the pace of the track. I can be stuck for hours debating with myself whether or not to keep a pad muted in a track. It can really instantly change the whole feel of the track.www.facebook.com/chemogen www.soundcloud.com/chemogen www.twilightindustries.com http://www.junodownload.com/products/1839038-02.htm

this is great for textures!!
will, this thing is awesome! but it sucks my cpu dry? i have tried with various sample and the same result. but when I load a new live set and then drop granulator in - no problem. when I load it in an existing set - cpu 100% as soon as i turn the instrument on...

I've noticed that it is pretty CPU hungry but I haven't experience that particular problem - nor has my production partner who uses it more extensively than I have.

rob papen's new blade might be good for ya...
Omnisphere is dope but much more cash... I think blade is nice it sounds clean and sharp.
good for intros and wobble sounds. forget the demos cause they suck but that vst is cool and cheap. I think Reaktor Razor is fresh too...
plus Alchemy. i juice em up with FabFilter Saturn instant flavors.
Hartmann neuron but thats a bitch to control
as it quite unpredictable, which can be good or bad (the dreaded noise frying fish sound)
I owned the hardware and now days the vs.
Patches sound noticeably crispier and glassier on the hardware but the vs was pretty darn close on most patches... hehe
miss that bitch till this day but needed the cash
or you can make it rain cash and jam on a JUPITER 8 pure analog sex and get swirly massive pads... but we talken BIG BOY TOYS NOW!
