I've been looking for decent and powerful PA system. Dunnot if gonna get one ever but still staying open minded of an idea to arrange parties, do some clubs and stuff.
example. setting up the pa system to beach and playing there with couple friend DJs next to people hanging around, organizing grapevine parties in somewhere and earn a little money back by playing at club or renting the pa set. nothing special just chill out and bringing the pa set and show everywhere it's needed =)
i would like to hear your point of view or experience about Club sound reinforcement systems, lights & controllers, dj players, sound management devices. even you have a single cd player or something give your shot and tell how do you felt in your gig and pa set. the main idea is to get pa system, lights + controller. i think it's quite easy to get those money back from these during few year with a little activity. EVEN YOU'RE interested of this please add +1 here

That system is way too loud and elaborate for what you mentioned, imo. I would suggest something like a pair of active full range cabs and just plugging in the DJ mixer/interface direct. Probably not adequate for larger clubs, but perfect for a beach and some friends.
And I really don't think this deserves a "mother of all".
  You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

I've tried many Mackie, HK etc. active pairs without subs and there is no such a botne. Definitely needs a sub PA set i'm looking for should've a lot of power for wide range of use and venues. But i also want a little sound quality as i have at home
I think it needs it's own "the mother of all thread" because even pa system are so digital these days and there are so wide aspect of things around when thinking about buy a set. Power, quality,DSP, performance, acoustics, benefit of use etc.
Sorry Kane about late modification of my previous post.

I have my own system now, bought most of it from thomann but also some second hand stuff, and its good enough for 200-250 ppl outdoors.
Was quite a nice investment, but now i need a good generator and a van
I got it at the end of the summer and i already did the sound on 3 successful parties with very good result. |
