Creators own word:

Hola!
My name is Andrey.
I’m a founder of psy trance project SynSUN and electro house project Andi VAX.
I would like to represent you the free video tutorial which is dedicated to secrets of mixing the dance music.
This video is for advanced producer who has an experience of two or more years.
For young and talanted there is a numerous tutorials with basic information.
The reason why I did it were a lot of questions and requests from young producers and professionals about my way of creating and processing the sound.
I’ve read a numerous tutorials about mixing and mastering music and the main it’s disadvantage is that the creators emphasis on ROCK and POP music, they are not paying attention on really important aspects of mixing and not explaining “HOW to make” instead of “WHY we do exactly THIS”.
I’ve not found an explanation of some important moments there, so my answers on my questions where burned from the long way of tests and mistake and also from by discussions with my colleges.
I've utilized in this video the most effective plugins, hardware and software synthesizers for deeper understanding the process.
What I explain here is not a gospel truth. This is only my vision of some aspects in sound recording and here I propose just one of the possible ways for achievement the good quality.

Dedicated to all who create. We are the world.

Yes, or sendspace/megaupload.           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

What do I wrong? The avarage rms after rendering my mix is now 12,sth RMS, last few were from 14-16..
(bounce at - 5,5 on master..)lots of channels under - 10 db (not rms) on channel fader.
I never clip, but it has too much of rms at the end while the overall waveform is "low" not looking nice ,far from squashed peaks so to say .
I bounce my midi always ,recently I try to bounce the midi to audio louder than when testing or mixing.I mean if I have the new midi file playing at - 5 with all existing audio ,I solo and bounce her louder (always under 0db of course).
I thaught louder signals can be lowered and still are more compact.
Is this maybe the fault resulting in my finishing high rms?
I used now only compression to glue kick and bass together and sidechain group and no other compressions and still too "loud".
It sounds ok thru monitors when mixing,(I mean tha balance accoustic in my perceivement)I'm sure room is too high and strange oldschool construct, but anyhows, maybe someone can give advice.

don't care about rms....just be sure that the volume of the individual tracks is balanced (listen to different monitors in different rooms).

bouncing midi parts in the loudest possible volume is a good thing, since you get the best SN-Ratio (signal to noise).           http://soundcloud.com/seamoon

when I got 12 rms db at -5 normal db peak of the file(after bounce the mix) than I have a problem of bringing it to -0,3 db with similar rms but better dynamics while trying to premaster.
Of coures other settings of my tools but this is extreme.
Previous times I got 20 or 22 rms and than after premaster the file looked way better and even sounded better ,not clearer though. But now with monitors evrthin has changed and still not as it should be,though the sounds are comming clearer when mixing without any care of rms etc.
Only by the end I have a problem.
However time will solve it somehow maybe.
Good to have read your points.
Thank you.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

Dija I believe my accent is really hard to understand .I think in real life you wuld understand me at once though.
I know in youtube are billions of mastering videos etc,I've seen nothing new though.New or anything that comes as an answer to my problem.
My problem is too detailed I think ,so it is hard to describe it for my english.
The general thing is - end of mix 12 db of rms = is a no go.
And I have it with - 5 db of the normal db, fmsdb or sth like this.
If it would be @ lets say 0 than it would not be a problem with 12 of rms.But it is at -5.
And I do want to improve in mastering and have fun to change the dynamics and use this whole headroom.
Now I wonder for long how does it come from that less rms by end of a mixdown with -5,5 db at master, since I have this probs only from the time I have monitors.
Not only the monitors sure..but I don't know what is wrong that makes it that loud.Well,anyhows.I will post an example when doing sth new if problem still there than you can analyse and see what i mean.
I've seen about 50 or more videos about mastering on youtube probably way more, but them all are same basics and nothing detailes like my problem.I've seen materials also of how to do some lead or sth else (basics(which I'm still learning))but not such a specific issue like for instance what I have.Otherwise I would not post here, really not.
But I belief really it is hard to tha core to understand mi man.
Peace & Congrats to your new side bro, cool to be a member there.

omg ^ me insomniac was writing an essay lol .

Ok ,here is the link,I hope it works because I've never used this service.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/cfl8w6

There is a folder with one mix after mixdown, and one after my premastering.
This is nothing special rather basic half draft with not many channels and a primitive kbbb bass ,my focus goes on mixing clearer ,the composition is quite lame.
I have now a better mix concearning the RMS - now after mixdown it is 17 rms,not 12 anymore, but I haven'T used that loud audio files.Audio files bounced from my midi I mean.
I'm quite sure it sounds muddy and unclear boomy.Don't know I think I have to go for eq in a completely other way, with maybe radical different settings.
If anyone can give me advice please do so.And please critisize as much as possible this is the best way to learn for me.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden
