my MS-10 also doesnt have midi input, altho it has a CV gate in, which can be used to trigger notes....
Im pretty sure u can get some sort of device that changes Midi messages to CV messages...
I am looking out for sumthing like this

yup. there are cv to midi converters BUT i'd rather go for the novation bass station rack. it's a cheap 2 in 1 combo: bass synth + cv to midi converter
why are you bitchin about the ms-10? you can get lots of cool sounds of it too. i think that "only one bass" is a bit of an understatement ofcourse a ms-20 would be nicer... but you really can't even speak of microkorg and the ms models in the same sentence. the first is a fun toy and the ms series are monsters of tweakology

Im not doubting the fact that i absolutely love my ms10 to little pieces....
And i love its "tweakability" much better than any other synth, I am very fortunate to have this ms-10....
All that i was saying is that the sounds that are coming from this are a bit stagnant, when i say one i dont actually mean one, i mean like 10, but nothing mind blowing, you see...
When u hear the sound of it u dont think WTF is that!>!>!>>!!!@@!?!?
u know what i mean rite?           [[[G|L|I|T|C|H]]]

i have to disagree i don't own a ms-10 but i had the pleasure of loaning one for a longer period of time. after the 1st tweaking session i wasn't impressed (almost disappointed) and i didn't touch the synth for some time. after a while i thought that the problem wasn't the synth's but the tweaker's and gave it another shot and i was right i think you can get very mindboggling sounds especially effects from a ms-10 + some fat basses... but ultimately it's a matter of taste.

and to seppa: thanks for the feedback!

Hi there

Do u agree with the idea that the Virus TI is no more than a basic synth plugin, i wonder because of the massive use of the Virus Control plugin...
Owners, can u tell us if you find same inspiration than with a Virus C or Nord ? I mean with a real piece of hardware, not with a computer controlled device like the TI...           Psy stuff : myspace.com/neyaprod

i see, the thing is i have owned mine for a very long time.... When i was growing up, my Dad got it, and he would let me play around for ages....
There are a few really cool sounds u can get out of it, but to me, its been overplayed.
It comes back to as u were saying personal taste too i suppose.
I love the fact that u can patch into the Filter, altho mine is so old its kinda crackly when u turn the frequency u here slight crackles...
I am not doubting that it is the coolest piece of equipment i own, i was just wishing that i had sumthing more expandable.....

i you want expandability then go for the doepfer system a-100 and build your own modular synth with over 100 different modules to choose from:
