Can someone please explain how to set up an automation clip for Nord Rack 2 (red one)?
The 'last tweaked parameter' doesn't get highlighted after you move a knob and it doesn't work when you select the record button and move any knob on FL 6.

Sorry, just going a little off topic here.

hi i have a Roland Jupiter 4, is kinda vintage Analog subtractive synth. it has 4 voices each an oscilator. it has no midi.
How do u guys manage to get synced sounds from this kind of synths. I believe something can be done as the SH-101 is used in so many tracks, and its cool. in fact , the jupiter has a similar sound, if a bit more old skool.
what i do is record it as i would an electric guitar, trying to get right timing manually and then editing and effecting the shit out of the audio. so far is sounding pretty sweet! somehow i just got into making some more downtempo/trip hop kinda deal.... lets see how it fits for psytrance,
so buddies how do you deal with the lack of midi? this is my 1ft hardw and always been a vst freak! |

some old synths have a CV/Gate output (not the jupiter 4 if i m right )so you can control them with a Cv/gate to midi convertor like a Kenton pro solo |

Anyone recommend a good starting synth to get? I'd prefer to get something that can make really super crazy sounds...ummm okay that sounds hilarious. What I mean is, I'd rather have tons of modulation/crazy stuff possible than say super thick saw sounds or something?
or maybe both?
you know what i mean? |

my MS-10 also doesnt have midi input, altho it has a CV gate in, which can be used to trigger notes....
Im pretty sure u can get some sort of device that changes Midi messages to CV messages...
I am looking out for sumthing like this

yup. there are cv to midi converters BUT i'd rather go for the novation bass station rack. it's a cheap 2 in 1 combo: bass synth + cv to midi converter
why are you bitchin about the ms-10? you can get lots of cool sounds of it too. i think that "only one bass" is a bit of an understatement ofcourse a ms-20 would be nicer... but you really can't even speak of microkorg and the ms models in the same sentence. the first is a fun toy and the ms series are monsters of tweakology
