Sequencing shuffle is basically "pushing" 16ths closer to 8ths or 8ths closer to 4ths but groove can be any form of syncopation or deviation from equally divided intervals.
I find it hard to believe that anyone is making dance music without some form of groove applied (unless we're talking about puzzle loop producing).

It can hardly get any more exact than "groove in trance". Most likely you need to get familiar with the meaning of word "groove".

Maybe groove is connected to a culture...
The humanity...or, Ocidental Humanity are listening 4/4 music for years...this have a relation with what our ears assign...

My definition of groove is "a good rhythm", one that makes your foot tap and head nod at home and booty shake at party. Groove can be achieved with various methods like swing/shuffle and syncopation.
