maybe if you fill the eggboxes with something 
they could probably work as diffusers..

Eggboxes is a common "acoustic myth" they are completly useless for isolating sounds. They do however as said before diffuse the sound, i am not sure how much thou.

in this technical xpo that i was talking about they demonstrated this new type of accoustic by simulating the jungle and the forest with audio sounds. it was so real, you cant believe, it was absolutely amazing. with all the sound coming literally from everywhere around.
why dont the people with the bigger budgets invest a bit money in better things than supporting stars? if someone from the trance scene puts a party with such accoustics i will be the first to go. no matter what style. i will go whatever the style, i am interested in music and sounds , not in styles, and this type of accoustic would even compensate for the whole bunch of idiot guests at the more commercial parties. like for instance the voov compensates with the lasers for the whole bunch of idiots around.
but those ppl dont really read in forums do they. we are too simple and unimportant for them.

Moki,
ppl who invest great deal of money in a party, do it in order to ensure that they will get their investement back, plus interest.
Investing in an advanced speaker system will be a bonus for the experimentalist - and can happen only when presenting a specific idea.
Usually no one likes losing money and will try to avoid it, even if it means to give up an idea.

Well, i understand their concerns but if i see a budget for a big festival ( like for instance i saw once an example budget for a festival in mushroom magazine), i think that they could make quite a lot of profit if they find different business USPs unique selling points, like unique acoustics. you see, you had there an example of 36000 euro for line ups+8000 euro for travel and accomodation ( and this is a relative small festival example, i mean there are also bigger budgets), 7000 for pa, 4000 lights and visuals, 9000 security, 7500 location, and so on and so on...
what if they just create a totally new idea of how to put their budget. they could work with fraunhofer for promotional purposes.
well anyway, i guess, those ppl, all the bigger budget heads like diego from boom and all others, i dont even know them, they probably dont even read here. i would have to say it somewhere else. a trance magazine should get me to explain the trance world more efficient.  )))))))))))))))))) joking. anyway. i can go to non trance events for this purpose too.
