I have never had an issue with my usb midi controller, except once when I forgot to turn it on....           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

i imagine you're looking for a midi/audio sound card no?
if you're looking for an audio soundcard try to check M-audio for a usb2 audio soundcard 24bit, very nice and equal price, but its not a pro sound card. but its quite good if you only need it for live performance or portable soundcard. i personaly in my laptop i have a rme soundcard working with cardbus in my laptop and the results are impressive! its my favourite, for shure! RME multiface, you've got to check it.

i tried echo indigo I/O...but unfortunately it was incompatible with my system. tried it on a mate's laptop and it worked perfectly, with some really nice sound. so i would recomend it, but also mention that they can b a pain in the ass for some (rebooting problems are very common, system incompatibility...etc).
so i'm planning to replace it with the edirol UA25....anybody has had any experience with it?           Why u little !!!

CardBus controllers vary in different laptops, and I also had problems where i had to send my magma box back for a firmware upgrade to make it compatible.
It can be worth contacting the soundcard manufacturer and ask what cardBus contollers they have noted as compatible with their product.           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)

Why not the

M-AUDIO Firewire Audiophile or any M-audio firewire card..

I had the extigy but it's just crap..! every creative is crap for production.

Now I have the M-audio and it works perfectly

2 outs analog (stereo)
1 stereo input
digital i/o and midi i/o

It's no dsp .. but the price is pretty low.
I bought mine from www.audiomidi.com for 299 almost a year ago.. 9 months I think
..- It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition. My discovery was the result of musical perception -..
