Can't leave out the mother of all trippy-hippy icons!

Unfortunately, i couldn't find a photo of the 18 inch tall Spinal Tap version with added dancing dwarves!

I think the tropical rainforest has to be one of the most psychedelic places. Driping with life to the maximum. Its just AMAZING, just a rainforest tree in Colombia had more species of ants than the whole of Europe. Its just extraordinaryly rich, and its a trip to be there as you hear all kinds of alien noises from birds, insects and everything hidden in it.

Below is a pic of Brazil's Atlantic Rainforest which harbors the most diversity per square mile then any other place on earth except for the tropical coral reefs:

with some of the trippiest animals:

Wow this canyon in Arizona (USA) has some parts that look like some sacred temples:

This place in Micronesia seems pretty far out:

Wow. Amazing place!! although your album required a password. I searched and found these other pics:

and you actually have to copy/paste this one on your browser to work:

One of the trippiest animals in my opinion has to be the sloth... especially those really big bastards! I remember seeing one when i was a kid... it was enough to give you nightmares!

It just looked like a guy in a costume with really long arms... and it had this weird little face on the top of it’s head. Seriously freaky shit!

http://www.sloth.ca/sloths/grfx/3toed01.jpg

Ahhh! ...

http://hello.typepad.com/hello/sloth.jpg

Talking about psychedelic creatures... did anyone (in the UK) see the episode of the excellent documentary 'Planet Earth' with the birds of paradise? It’s the show advertised by the Sigur Ros track 'Hoppípolla'.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/41318000/jpg/_41318338_gal_birds_puff.jpg

This picture doesn't do it justice. That bird is actually really tiny and scrawny but then suddenly quadruples in size and 'morphs' into that odd shape... complete with a bright blue fluorescent stripe. Very strange!

Btw, this was a mating dance... and she completely ignored him!

Women, eh?

There are amazing places everywhere..

Lapland in the summer.. the sun doesn't set for many months:

http://www.deveplan.fi/polar/images/bg/bg_kalastajat.jpg

can be pretty sweet in the winter too.. the sun doesn't rise for many months, only light is provided by the stars and the moon and the northern lights:
