My question today is Does Trance along with all its various elements make you mad??

elements :
Psychedelic music teasing the senses... or more like attacking the mind!!

Drugs effecting the mind body (does it help development or distruction)

Is this the precipus or is it tumulting to something great.

Actually it's a fact that your heart will follow the bpm of the beat which mean that your heart over time will be stressed quite radical if you continue listening to music that's faster than the average normal "active" bpm for a heart = 60 - 70bpm in resting mode and around 90 - 110 when your active (sport not included ).

So if you constantly or every weekend (most listen way more) listen to fast bpm's your heart will get stressed over time.

Deffinently something to think about

I've never had problems with concentration, hell, I sometimes even study with psytrance on !! I listen to it everyday and never experience problems! (I listen to all the styles psytrance has to offer by the way.) The music even picks me up when I'm having a bad day! The main difference here is probably that I never use drugs, and drugs tend to fuck you up real good over time!! So, do like I do. Enjoy the music and not the drugs. You will never have problems that way.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

hi
to Elysium Project
about heart rate , 60 - 80 yeah maby normal ,
but when i listen to this music i usually dance , and 140 - 150 bpm is a norml heart rate for a running man at my age and weight (23 years,170 pounds)
But if i just listen , i dont think my heart rate goes up much ...
about going mad ... yeah no doubt , for me its a combination of music , and other factors , i think i was crazy to begin with .
abot Dark Music .. yeah new , great style ! the best
about drugs , effecting body - most of them do that in a bad way , mind - hmmmm , difficult question , good, bad .... whoever takes, pretty much knows how they affect i guess

P.S. Kids if you dont want to end up like me ,
NEVER LISTEN TO DARK PSYCHEDELIC TRANCE !

Nik@ it's a fact that your heart rate follow the bmp of the music your listening to... also when you sit down. Ask any doctor.

Sorry EP.... that's incorrect.

I just listen to a mix cd, most tracks are around 132 bpm and my pulse hasn't really changed. It's been around 58 - 64 bpm. I'm just sitting hear at the PC and listening, reading some posts, taking it petty easy...

Trance itself I'd say is harmless -- at least to your brain. You can fuck up your hearing (I've lost 10-15%) over time but I don't think it affects the mind..

Drugs, however... that's a different story, and since trance and drugs pretty much go hand in hand it's pretty dangerous. Once or twice no problem, but if you become a "trance head" (=going to parties all the time) and usually take drugs (E or speed being the most damaging), you have to expect some long term effects...

The bottom line is, you see a lot of people who suffer from depression, problems with concentration, generally mood disorders etc. because of their use of E and speed, which fucks up your serotonin circuitry in the brain..

The solution? Drink Red Bull, party less hard and don't fuck yourself up. Remember, the rest of your life is a pretty damn long time and you don't wanna end up an imbecile because of a few years of fun you had while being young... It's not a price worth paying!

Now, that's my Sunday sermon over...
