Too bad he killed himself... I never understood that...
But if you want to study more mayan calender and 2012, there is alot of great movies out there...
- 2012 - Science or superstition
- Nostradamus - 2012
- The 2012 enigma (David wilcock)
- 2012 - The future of mankind (Michael tsarion)
- Welcome to evolution - 2012
- Decoding the past
- 2012 - Fact or fraud
Just to mention a few of them...
I'm just waiting for the hollywood movie 2012, later this year... Ain't nothing better than seeing mankind being screwed

@Xun
I didn't know that he killed himself
I saw almost all films you recomend but i was thinking and talking more about the calendar not the 2012 theme.
It's about how we understand time and relate to it...
thx for sharing

@Alecu:
On his website there is some text from his late wife, writing about him etc. (It's been some time since I have been to the site, so don't know if it's still updated... And can't find the link atm.)
Well, there are not too many movies about the calender itself, but there is some books out there...
A simple amazon.com "mayan calender" gives some good results

wasup guys
there s a difference between the mayan calendar and the dreamspell.
that link s bout dreamspell http://www.astrodreamadvisor.com/free_mayan_readings.html
and that one s bout the mayan calendar
http://www.diagnosis2012.co.uk/mlink.htm
ian lungold used to work with the mayan calendar not the dreamspell...
the dreamspell s a calendar created by jose arguelles usin the mayan cycles and other stuffs as i ching , nordic runes etc etc etc etc.
But its out of the mayan long count, which s the native mayan calendar.
The long count never stoped, its independent from the gregorian calendar.
Dreamspell have many gregorian correction as the day 29th february....
and there it goes......
imo both are awesome , even the fake one from jose arguelles.......
