IsraTrance should sponsor a competition to write a commercial number 1 psy-trance tune with them chords; see if it can infiltrate the commercial market, whilst remaining full-on.

What makes it sad is that two of my all time favourites are in there, No Woman No Cry by Bob Marley and Let It Be by The Beatles.

Why? Strong progretions are used because they feel good. It is wired in the human brain... of course it can have variation but nothing will ever sound more satisfaying than a I-V relationship... for me it is more a mater of physics than a creative issue.
It is like if one laughed beacuse the magical good bread technique is always flour, sugar, fat and water.
I mean it is good for comedy and it made me laugh but i hardly would consider this a reason to be sad because this progretion constitutes many of my favorite tracks.
just my 2cents
edit: great vid btw |

Because you thought that those great masterpieces were a little bit more complicated than that?
It's like finding out for the first time that 50% of Shpongle is sampled
Doesn't make it any less better though.
