SO,,, aren't these big names artists fed up with mimicking the live act on mixers eqs and on hardware synths' knobs?
I mean at least put the cd on and let it roll if that's all u can do..

fair play i think. when you get to that level and you are part of a show that is bigger than just you and the music, the dynamics of performance change..
but before that level ... DJ'ing isn't hard.. the real problem is that you have people who just want the ATTENTION of DJing, and could really give a damn about the actual sound waves..

The guy behave like a overrated prick on stage. Seriously he should get down to earth again or stop snorting white powder.
About his show. Massive thumb down! And please do not call what he's playing House music.

hmm i can see this as a LAST resort like a back up or something logical like that but... for a set... if your a dj you should at least manually mix your stuff. Honestly i would rather hear a good artist slightly mess up while trying to dj, then a premade mix. at least it would show he's trying... and it doesn't help that people now days are picky with their music and/or dj's ... It is what it is though. i like live sets personally, but they are obviously harder to do usually. my .02

he doesn't even try.. and he's ranked as 14th on the djmag top 100!!
axwell is 10th, sebastian ingrosso is 16th.. swedish house mafia live act is 23rd.
the criteria must be popularity.. definitly not skills or effort.
dance with your hands in the air!!! instant profit
amazing, how this guys are allowed to do mediocre performances and still get paid. the fans and the event organizers are not demanding.

and even if someone does care, the crowd is placed at a safe distance. they can't see much!! the key is to pretend to be busy!!

Faking that live act like steve angello did is good but faking the producing is even better:
