Shivlink, Highly risky, Heard stories of artists that never got paid or got it after a very long time, no copies of releases when it is mentioned on the contract.
Shivlink records offer contracts with a high risk of not getting anything or getting it with a long long waitting, surely not as the contract mentions.
ON YOUR OWN RISK. if you care about you beeing lied to.

Better make a list of trustable labels, should be much shorter. I think Ocelot already opened such list.

i think the only money to be made in psytrance is through big scale festivals....or by making prograssive music which can cross over into house, techno, etc...there is a lot of demand for psytrance...except that all its followers are more or less like Hippies who want everything for free...well Hippy movement is dead...and as a result psytrance is in downward spiral...i think someone needs to contact guys at Sony, BMG or Virgin and save this great music...yeh it maybe little too commercial for our tastes but at least the artists will not be disgruntal...i mean there will always be disgruntal artists but at least there will be opportunity for seasoned artists to mentor the up coming ones because of their higher bank balances.

The point is not to make empty promises and not to write stuff in the contract that one of the sides "plans" not to stand for or to delay their execution. It's pretty clear that nobody in this scene lives from CD sales, ok, fair. But if you sign the contract and agree to pay xxx $ for the track please do so. That's how the contracts work. It's not a issue of money and capitalism. It's an issue of trust.

looks like there is a lot of breach of trust from the labels side. the funny thing is however wrong it maybe they can get away with it because either the artists cant afford the legal fees or they belong to different jurisdictions from the label and thus enforceability of the contract becomes tough and at times people of certain countries are not allowed to get into business contracts with foreigners without approval of govt and shit like that so these contracts in the eyes of law many times have no legal standing. besides i also think that artists are to blame for this as instead of striving to make music that more established and reliable labels would purchase they make tracks for new labels...i mean there are more labels than artists in psytrance...its ridiculious...
