Artist: The Knife
Title: We Share Our Mothers Health
Label: Rabid Rec / Brille
Release Date: 24th July
Track listing:
1. Original Version
2. Trentmoller remix
3. Radio Slave's Secret Base Remix
4. Ratatat Remix
The Knife We Share Our Mothers’ Health is released on July 24th on Brille Records
The Knife’s new album ‘Silent Shout’ has been hailed as a modern masterpiece. With their recent sold-out performance at The Scala earning rave reviews and drawing comparisons with Aphex Twin and Kraftwerk, the Swedish siblings now present ‘We Share Our Mother’s Health’, the first full single to be taken from the album.
The single features the already brilliant Original version, which is getting advance plays at radio from Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, and The Blue Room; and is backed by a high-octane remix from Trentemoller, and a darker more moody reworking by man of the moment Matt Edwards aka Radio Slave. Both mixes are earning massive plaudits from some of the best international DJ’s, and together as a package ‘We Share Our Mother’s Health’ looks set to confirm The Knife’s reputation as one of the most wonderfully original acts of 2006.
The Knife was confirmed as headlining Sonar By Day in Barcelona 15th-18th June, Where the security had to stop leading people in cause the stage was packed
The Knife will be playing major festivals around Europe this summer before returning to the UK for selected festival appearances over the coming months with further UK tour dates to be announced shortly for Autumn 2006.

Trentemoller's remix is simply exquisite. One can say he really shines with his remixes.....first the coincidence rmx, then the rmx to Yoshimitsu and now this amazing piece....Flawless production and crispy innovation!!!!!
Here's dreaming of a collab between trente and extrawelt |

who cares about trentemøller when you have the knife
im so tired of trentemøller maybe its because i live in dk and he is so hyped here and plays all the time
he is way to hyped and his sounds and style dosent change that much from track to track
but he's album will be a surprice |

thats why i said he shines through his remixes....yes his own stuff is good but as u said mostly sounds the same....and when he gets good vocals and other material from other artists his level seems to elevate much more!!!
overhyped or not he has a unique style and i beleive we will hear much more of him in the future |
