Can someone explain, why the way the gate effects the bassline is effected by the bpm of the track? If I put the gate after the compressor (in the bassline) it depends on the bpm how much hits from the bassline are gooing trhough the gate.

maybe some strange compressor settings(settings need to be changed f.e. when bpm's are higher) ? Try the gate first without the compressor maybe.

or it may be a bug of that plugin chain combination....

if noise gate, it's better to sample the bassline than to use one, imo.
and manually adjust the sample length and the fades....
