Seriously - if there's a better way of spitting on the legacy of a band that didn't play their biggest hit again after it was used as a commercial, I can't think of it. IM, Oakenfold and Snoop Dog. Ouch. |

The idea of John Densmore* liking these thin plastic remixes is a big fat joke. Anyone who thinks that knows very little about the Doors.
The reason most of these are not released is a simple matter of publishing rights

This is actually legit as far as I know, and I heard it all from ppl I consider reliable and knowledgble enough
Manzarek actually visited IM in the studio and they got all the original files. This whole thing was meant for movie soundtracks/advertisment and not for release as music. Definitely not an album.
As for the music, besides Adam Freeland and maybe BT it all sucks in my opinion, and was done by people who have no feel for The Doors' music and what it conveys, and do not understand it.

I've only heard the Fredwreck remix and the Crystal method remix.
Both of which i liked incidentally and guess what i don't feel inferior psychedelically. YAY! HURRAH! YIPPIEEEEEE!
