didn't even know wat to put in the title but anyway, this is rather a serious question to me.

do you, or did you at any point, heard a psytrance track that dived into the vast types of pulsating beats? let me just straight this out, is it 'bad' if a track gets diverted from the psy path? i mean starting like a regular trance track but in the middle of it diving into some sort of hypnotic tribal night devilish with a dark bright touch ambient..

this is currently happening to me, i feel the need, or at least i feel like my current 'work in progress' tunes are getting a bit diverted and entering an ambient world, which kinda fucks my workways since i keep working on it and i go to sleep, and then the next day i hear it again, and it's like a trance track in the beginning alright, but then it somehow enters this night tribal world and doesn't get back to the track beats, which means it starts as a trance track, and it finishes as a tribal track.

any thoughts?

Sounds like a good thing to me. Though, I could see it being frustrating not being able to find a way to tie them together. I guess perhaps bringing back the tranciness at the end might serve to "remind" the listener. Or you could combine them for a C part, ambient trance stuff is often cool. I think it's more psychedelic than straight trance most of the time anyway if you can go on a few detours to some other worldly lands before returning back to the trance party.

thank you for the support daark, but although it feels great, it's also a bit challenging because i have no guides, and one may say 'without guidelines you're totally free', but still it's a bit weird to not have the typical guiding, oh well, since i'm in the hole, might as well as dig it until i reach the gold

you know how annoying it is to hear the same all over again and again bring in the freshness and to keep it quality just keep your head straight and your ears clear. you might aswell take a break and come back to it later and make a different ending with a serious approach to it but don't be affraid to go crazy and make mistakes its the best thing there is for you to progress           http://soundcloud.com/magimix-1/chilling-forest-whispers

for me that kind of 'experiment with arrangement' is a essence of psytrance.
i grew up on that kind of psy:

i say: go for it! some time ago psytrance was a genre where you could mix everything with everything. test any album and va from matsuri recordings and you'll see that there are no limits
