Psykovsky @ Pebbles in b'lore yesterday 2nd may 2010. Wow phenomenal set by Vasily. He showed true masterclass and loved his dance steps great vibe n was good to see all my psychedelic friends.

hey.. did'nt you feel the volume was fluctuating little too much ? Towards the later half of the set there was barely a bassline .. understand that in a live set you keep playing with the Fx and Samples but it seemed to get a little out of hand.
people stopped moving and were waiting for any sort of consistent bassline to settle in. Pskovsky would'nt let go of his flangers and phasers and pebbles would be drowned in those space sounds for long stretches of 5mins +. and the talk is that it was not even a live set. then was it some kind of really warped mixer malfunction with the Bass disappearing for long stretches ? most Tandav Baabas I knew were disappointed as nobody could get into the so called "trance dance" state of mind with the way the levels were fluctuating.. anybody else felt the same way ?

I dunno I could nt notice the bass line failing.. It was there Yea psykovsky was driving us insane by playing with our minds and bodies cutting the bassline off at Odd time signatures. Gosh extremely complex maths if you ask me! I guess the "Tandav babas" were not too happy cos they could nt get a steady doofi doofin bassline to ride on. Well psykovsky's music is not about a steady 4/4 doofin doofin bassline is it!?

I myself was only lucky to catch wadia´s last party... with the gummy bears on the helipad
for me one of the biggest and best highlights of bombay parties was the Neuromotor (I think his first appearence - Hitens party) bash in Karjat with over a 1000 madhatters flying together into the morning... anyone who witnessed that would agree to the oneness it brought when Fred finished off his set with then Cyber Cartels brand new track - Magic Vision. Can never forget that party... dont think even Fred ever forgot it. he came back 5 times to bombay since then.

Sounded the same way at Saffire Gurgaon it was intentional not a mixer fuck up ..........
Being, a bundle of minute, unique particulars in which, by some unspeakable and yet self-evident paradox, was to be seen the divine source of all existence. |

Miss those smiles where u were greeted with smiles no matter u know the person or not .. It was a smiley world with people full of love.. Miss the days man .. Really !!
Miss the lovely parties u guys organized all the time .. There was this rush to go for the parties .. Now every week there is an artist performing .. Somehow it doesn't interest me .. Just the music part of it pulls me .. Rest is better left unsaid ..

Mahayagna days when a 17 year old boy laughed, flew, hugged the huge wall of monitors, danced to the tunes that were so refreshing.. everything was good, no one was called a poser, everyone was welcomed with arms wide open.
It was beautiful everytime there was music in Fabric, Delhi. There were towering whistles, smiles, hugs, left - right - left motion stomping the ground at 140 bpm. Can't forget the crash and burn days courtesy subtrix (where is he these days.. anyone?)
Elevate gave a nice alternative feel to the dying outdoor scene with its rooftop and brilliant indoor scene.
Had fun.
