The winter months are filled with long dark nights and short wet days. People often find themselves lost in their heads and creating realities out of delusions. This mix is a journey for your mind to experience the lows as well as the rebirthings into clarity.
I released this mix with an accompanying story that was shared in real time on my Facebook wall, but that was a one-time thing. The mix works well as a standalone, so feel free to journey down the path of The Escapegoat so that you don’t need to become one yourself.
The track list is available at http://goaconstrictor.com/escapegoat as a way to keep things a surprise until you have listened to the mix. To give you a clue as to what you are in store for, the mix features music from the likes of: Prometheus, Benza, Loopus in Fabula, Vishnudata, Fuzzion and more.

my gear lust has advanced to a laptop and a hardware synth at this time
I mean, the APC is already completely sticky and basking in the afterglow - need something else to focus on lest I wear her out

yeah, i still want to deck my studio out in a rainbow of Waldorf gear. mmmmMmMmMMmmmMmMmm
and i could really use some new stomp boxes for my guitar.

Pretty sure my first hardware synth will be a waldorf Blofeld...or a korg kaosillator...unless I win the lottery and I can buy a SH-101 or an MS-20 or something.

I was thinking that you might like this one. It's not nearly as upbeat and crazy as my normal mixes, but I think it is a nice slightly chill yet still funky and chunky tripped out mix that isn't a standard Techno or Minimal set...
