Hello. Could anyone one give me more info about Vision Quests Gathering 2005? I know that it's September 24th, and afew of the artists playing, but not much else. There dosen't seem to be anything on the Vision Quest website. Dose anyone one know of another website for this event?? |

In time buddy, they will be full-steam ahead getting their DVD out. Was a great event last year, had soo much fun. Maybe ill be 'asked' back this time.. lol |

Yeah, I know that it's abit of time away but I'm so excited and just trying to plan everything as soon as possible. I have never been there but I have been watching the 2003 DVD and it looks sweet. Really looks awesome.... |

Just watched the 2004 DVD....I am so going to go this year, It looks awesome! If anyone has any info yet, pls post here. I just want to get onto organising it as soon as possible. Can't wait  |

do you speak Japanese? It not necessary but eill defiantely help you get out there. I had to catch 4 trains from Tokyo! Then get the final station master to call the sky resort, Palcal, to organise someone to pick me up!!!

No, unfortunately I don't speak Japanese...now you have me worried!!! Nah, I'll be travelling with a friend who does and I have friends who live there. Should be sweet (she say's with all fingers and toes crossed) The DVD was awesome, I did prefer the 2003 one though....I liked all the stuff with Asher Skazi commentating and all the behind the scences stuff in the hotel and tour bus...very funny. There isn't so much of that this time, but still well worth a watch. So Oprtix, your not going this time? I wonder if Infected will play now with all their deportation drama? Hope so, although Astrix and Skazi will do nicely......... |

yeh it's not looking so god for me. You see if I have to pay again, Id perfer to go to another party somewhere I have not been before.

Personally I found the 2004 DVD to be a complete waste. The early previews on the VQ site lead me to believe there would be a lot of footage of actually performances from the event (like the 2003 DVD). However in the end there was maybe 5 minutes of actually live footage with audio. The rest was just video from the party over random tracks that often have little or no relation to the artists in the video. Some people might not mind that, but personally if I am buying a DVD of a specific event, I was footage (INCLUDING AUDIO) from that event, Not video from it over some random CD tracks. But that's just me.
