Heee Hee just kidding! Anyway.... is there anyone that use hardware compressors today? (but me that is)
Would be good to get some opinions (good or bad) by my fellow producers, one man can`t try them all!!!

i bought a few days ago a focusrite compounder. heard good comments abt it. will found out soon if it makes sense. heard good things abt the bass expand.

in the past i had a tla yvory 5021 compressor and it was kind of nice for some specific things but very limited since it worked with steps/presets for thresh and ratio etc. i think that one is meant for bassguitar players etc. anyhow sold it easily for ok price, so not a big disappointment.

have to say i liked the feel of knobs and had the idea it was (within the limitations of this thing) pretty fast and easy to get a good sound on bass and kick.

Yepp got a 5021 myself, and im quite sattesfited!, but the best compressor for electronic music (according to me ) is the SPL Dynamaxx! sounds good and Very low noise!! www.soundperformancelab.com
Since i have had the Universal Audio 1176, LA3A, and the Tla C1, i can tell you the Dynamaxx seams moast suited for electronic music!"!!!!
