Rumor has it Sly asked Jean Claud Van Damn to join. When Mr. Damn asked what kind of movie it was, Sly replied; Do not concern yourself with what sort of movie it is, you'll make huge amounts of money.

Since Mr. Damn is a serious actor trying to take care of his acting repetition, he respectfully declined.

I say someone should start a Facebook group or something to force Mr. Damn back into the movie. Also would be super to see Steven Seagal and Chuck Norris in this ULTIMATE 90's action character movie soup.

* Jean-Claude Van Damme was originally offered the role that went to Dolph Lundgren. Van Damme's reason for turning down the role was that he thought that there was no substance in his character.

* Wesley Snipes was offered the role of Hale Ceasar but couldn't accept because, due to his tax problems, he wasn't allowed to leave the United States without the courts approval.

* Sandra Bullock was offered role of Agent Lickson.

* Ben Kingsley was considered for the role of Monroe.

* Scott Adkins was offered the role of Dan Paine.

* The role of Will Sands, was originally going to be played by Forest Whitaker, but he was forced to pull out due scheduling conflicts. 50 Cent replaced him.

* Stallone wanted Kurt Russell for the role of Church, but he turned it down.

* Forest Whitaker was cast as Hale Cesar, but was forced to leave the film due to a scheduling conflict. When it was announced that rapper 50 Cent was replacing Whitaker, many fans were disappointed and, after a few days, Stallone decided to cast Terry Crews in the part.

* According to Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell was offered a part in the movie but turned it down.
