I had a great time at the last one esp. with Pedro's and Onnomon's sets. Will try to make it to this one. The vibe at cosm is awsm and I love the wonderful drinks(juice/ herbal tea) and food you can get for a dollar - helps keep the energy going. Great idea to open up the chapel this time.

some more info....

Fuzzy Nugget: Noam Rubinstein may be familiar to many as an original member of Mind Engine, and a long time New York-based video games producer, as well as a composer, engineer and visual artist. He is a long-time friend of the Reality Engine and joins us at COSM to play a live set of his signature psy-disco fuzzy nuggets to kick off the summer with a rump-shaking vibe before he retires back to his studio to work on some new material.

Inicha will be a live show by Dan Covan on the eletronic percussion and extras, Dean(Onnomon) on the guitar and Chris on the bass....
LIVE

Alex Grey will be giving a talk at the Chapel about te band Tool at 1 AM....

this is it for now....

cosmic twister,
i wasn't at the event, but i'm curious... when you say "some of the Tools were jerks." are you referring to fans of the band, or were the band members there themselves?

          Are you connected to yourself?

It was a diferent crowd than the normal for sure, interesting to observe how they reacted to trance, some liked, others ran away right after the talk...

I understand the deco complaint...but there is just so much we can do, any artists willing to colaborate with this just let me know....

if you really think about the deco tough....one of the rooms is full of original psychedelic paintings, in the other room, visuals and Alex Grey doing live painting... pretty good, no?           a human's mind, once stretched, cannot go back to its old way
