a free VSTi synth who generates random synth sound... (don't know if it was ever posted here )

just check it : http://www.kvraudio.com/get/3094.html

as they say :
Quote:

The Element of Surprise is a fun little freeware synth that is designed for one purpose only... to make really cool randomly generated sounds for fast inspiration and experiments in spontaneous song writing. The interface is simple, but under the hood there is a full synth with multiple oscillators, filters, various types of modulation, and effects, all optimized to provide a wide variety of usable randomly generated sounds.

and better and my winner is the 'hybrid' that mix 2 presets into eachother..

Ive gotten some really good sounds out of this plug! Only abit annoying when you just need to tweak 1% more on the sound to make it perfect, and you cant           http://www.myspace.com/fragletrollet

nice toy , not as usefull if there was "show inteface" button.. but this will become to another vst i guess....

Known Bugs

Dual core processors + multiple instances
Unfortunately VSTs built with SynthEdit are not properly compatible with dual core processors. Single
instances work fine, but multiple instances can cause crashes in hosts that have multi processor support activated. Jeff McClintock, SynthEdit’s creator, is aware of the problem and has mentioned that the fix for it will be in the next update (1.1) of SynthEdit. As soon as Jeff releases this fix, I will release an update to Texture to solve this problem.

In the meantime, there are a few workarounds for this issue.

1. Make additional copies of the TEoS dll for each extra instance you expect to need, and give each a new name. (eg: TEoS2.dll, TEoS3.dll, etc.) Hosts consider each an individual instance, and therefore do not run into the multiple instance conflict.

2. Freeze each instance before loading another one, especially if your host has an “unload while frozen” option.

3. Turn off multi processing in your host. Of course this is the least desireable

FL Studio Lag
When TEoS is loaded you may experience a lag between when you press play and when the sequencer starts. A lag also occurs when pressing the rewind button. This problem is caused by an incompatibility between TEoS and the reset procedure FL runs every time you play/rewind.

To fix this problem:
1. Press the options button in FL studio (at the top of the screen)
2. Choose the Audio Settings from the drop down menu
3. Turn off “Reset plugins on transport”

Project5 Lag
The same problem occurs in Project5. Unfortunately though, this host does not offer the option of turning off the reset so there is no solution for it right now. However, the faster your computer, the less lag you will notice. So if you’ve got a newer computer, you may not run into this problem at all.

lots of bugs , lots of fixes
btw the FL fix is abit lame for all other properly working VST's but im sure it will be fixed soon =)
