i've been starting to get my eyes more and more open for dubstep. anyone knows a good homepage for discovering dubstep(like psyshop or isratrance but for dubstep)?

www.addictech.com is pretty good for brokenbeats - including psychedelic bass music
Just bought it a couple of days ago. This album is deep and hypnotic. The way they fused post-rock with dubstep and electronica is brilliant.

^ you nearly lost me with the post-rock label, but I gave it a listen. Fantastic beautiful atmospheric music, with - i suppose - dubstep beats, but no whomp. I like it a lot. If this is dubstep then dubstep can be much more than just the usual bass-y music.
