Hey Party People....
This is the time of the year to welcome spring and come to enjoy a magical sunset party. Along with killer sounds flowing on the hudson river, in the Open Air of Manhattan.Once more we get to enjoy the sounds of an exclusive LIVE set by Marcus and Sebastian aka SON KITE! And with one of the best north american psy trance producers, GHREG ON EARTH for the 1ST time in NYC!

hehe Son Kite very nice. .......So u guys get tired of Exit ?Very good lets have little break from DrinkPoint.
....from what i remember the location is on a docked boat called the frying pan... and im pretty sure it is covered on top but open on all sides... mindblowing view of the city and the water... and yeah boy, all you want...
....killer line up tho, i would have been happy with *just* son kite but this looks totally kickass.
....sounds like a nice party to visit. But is it really going to end at 4 am? I think this is way too early...
....WOW!!!!! I am really excited about this one!!! Another party at Frying Pan (last one was awesome!)........Im sooooo glad I wont have to schlep all the way out to greenpoint to see these two acts @ Exit!
....Hmmmm....could Alladin actually be aware that they're presenting a mixed style event? I hope so, 'cause this good. You're going to get some serious mind bashing from Ghreg, serious body thrashing with Knobe, we're going to watch Allen sumo wrestle Knobe (winner stays dry), and then have a cool swedish massage from the Kite. The Frying Pan has a good history in hosting some nice trance parties (among other genres). They usually set up a covered outdoor area (with space heaters if necessary) for the main stage and have another sound system in the inner hold (inside the boat), lot's of little nooks and crannies to do your thing.

....really nice choice of headliners. . .varied and excellent. its hard to use that word unless describing every single dj featured. and an afterparty. . .sounds tasty
....Nice place for an open air welcome spring...last year it was a nice party despite the sound system...I also hope to have changes regarding this....the variety in the line up and the party starting at 5 shall be blast...good luck to Alladin crew, way to go!

....Frying Pan is probably the best location I have been to in NYC for a psy trance party - And for those of you who know me (know that I am quite picky about psy locations ) - I am so definetly there for this one. Please god I hope the weather cooperates. See ya all on the dance floor.
....Why does it have to be a 21+ event at the frying pan? That is unfair to people under 21, or those with signifigant others under 21. And it is a trance party! not to many people drink at trance parties.
....Looks like it's going to be raining on Sat. and will stay at around 46 degrees (not too warm)...Any chance of moving the party indoors?

....Not at all I love outdoor events, but the whole scene will not look as good in the rain and in the cold.
....My sources say theres a 60% chance of showers so hopefully it wont rain 2 hard, or better yet theyll be wrong and it wont rain at all (theres still plenty of time for the weatherman to change their mind!). If it does its OK tho because the space is covered and canvas can be lowered down the sides if it becomes a driving rain. Dress appropriatly for the temprature and u should be fine...
....My props for Alladin Project Crew. Great lineup. But did you really have to make this event 21+? 4 more months dammit!!!
....this party sounds promising. It's going to be my first psy party in NY ....can't wait to check out the scene!

well is that something we really need to worry about? You can argue that at every trance event some people lose a couple of hours and some people gain a couple of hours. Few people stay even, that's for sure.

....Hey Party People....
Today there will be a huge water proof tent that can close in case of rain. As well inside we have heaters so no worries!! The party is on and we can't wait... this will be a very special and unforgetable Alladin Project's Event so please come early so you don't miss any of it!!!

....Grrreaaat party! The last couple of hours were simply magical. The sunrise, wet , misty air, the boat rocking on the waves, the music!, the people radiating with happiness....Big thanks to organizers and everyone who was there. Looking forward to more parties at that great location. Peace and LOve
....whaaaaat a night.First of all IMO the best location for summer parties.....Two bucks for a water is a damn right price.First time for a long time I havent had that feeling that they ripping me off in the day light ,nah you can even look in the eyes of the bartender leaving a tip (not like I am paying 5$ and forgeret about tip bah).
OH and I forgot about Allen.Hes started playing right after SOn Kite (hard task heheh) and ppl keep dancing and yelling (whos the f.... were yelling whole nigh ??? )everybody enjoyed.
....location and weather were perfect ( so what if the chillum doesnt light too well in the wind ! ) but the crowd left far too much to be desired .. there were a whole bunch of very strange, overly drug addled zombies teetering around the dancefloor that reminded me of being in michael jackson's (is it safe to say his name ) video 'thriller' ..
all in all .. what a party .. brilliant music at many moments, and what a morning
....I also enjoyed this party. The place is indeed very nice, looking forward to check it in summer time when the tent will be open.

this one was for sure one of the best (if not the best!!) parties i've ever been to in NYC !!!!
....So even getting seasick wasnt so bad, it kind of added to the experience in a way (although I hope my belly behaves next time lol!)
Hope there are more parties @ frying pan, its a great location.

....I would like to see more parties at the frying pan, I totally prefer it to parties at Spirit or club exit in greenpoint.

Music?
....that fire in the middle of Ghreg On Earth very hypnotic and pulsating set. It almost felt like the energy levels on the floor were so high that things started to cach on fire! Thank God there were no complications.
....ghreg landed on earth, and took all of us back with him to whatever planet he comes from .. brilliant set from ghreg, what sounds !! ..
....greg on earth totaly fuct with my head.. the most twisted sounds i have heard.. killer dark set.. the way he kept me thinking he was going to stop and then hed drop another bomb... crazy stuff..
allen was killing it as well.. what the hell was that track that he played where he pretended that the cdjs were outta control and then all of a sudden there wasa crazy crazy sample and back to tha madness...
son kite was well son kite.... brilliant production and sound.. the violins really did it for me... great stuff
....Shikid and Knob played great sets - seamless and with wonderful energy. I was so put off by GhregonEarth though. The music was way too dark and malformed for my taste (and it seemed like he played for eons!). Son Kite was fantastic as to be expected - they never disappoint! I agree that their set was way too short...hopefully they'll make it up to us next time ;-)
.....There are couple of minuses I can think of: at some point it was way too overcrowded, and the Son Kite's set was very short (less than an hour?). But it was compensated with an extended overall time. And the morning...a blast!
.....and the music... Knob as always... The master of NY trance ... he always manages to takes us to a diferent dimension !! Allen's set was great as well... Greg had some really twisted sounds which made me wonder where it was coming from , but once i got used to it i kinda managed to like it... and Son Kite... well is not really my style but they played a very nice set as
...didn't enjoy knob's night set as much, too full on for my liking after ghreg, which had to be one of the psychedelic rides of a lifetime .. ... son kite was beautiful for the time they played, a typically son kite journey, gentle and rhythmic - a great release after the power of ghreg .. on to allen, who was muxh much better than the last time he played in nyc - seemed like a lot of droidlock droidsect type sounds, his set came as a complete surprise and rocked !! ..
knob in the morning was .. well ... knob in the morning, some great tracks as well as a little bollywood humour .. ;-) he must have been to ninja school the way that man is on the decks !!!
.....SOn Kite as always excellent set same to SIDKH and KNOB (hehe way to go man).Also very nice set from Ghreg (he played some weirdest tunes I ever heard heheh) ,
.....Didn't enjoy Son Kite's set that much, but I guess that's the style. Knob's sets before and after - don't even have the words to explain...outregeously THEEEEEE BEESSSSTTT.
Ghreg On Earth had some very good morning tunes.
....if ghreg's set was morning tunes, i'd love to hear a dark set from you .. i think you're confusing ghreg with allen .. both played brilliant sets, ghreg before knob's night set and allen before his morning... in retrospect, and once the brain settles a little, i realised that son kite's set was a carbon copy of halloween .. hmph .. i wonder why artists keep to an extremely similar live ... ?

and you're also correct, both played great..
halloween set was much longer with some violin tunes...i actually liked it much better then (not to take anything away from Son Kite, they are good)
....Yeah I dont understand why so many who posted here have issues with Ghregs set. Too dark? what is this? I know not. I sure hope NY isn't losing its guts for twisted dark madness ! The only thing I didnt like was all the long pauses in the twisted darkness.
....I would like to see more parties at the frying pan, I totally prefer it to parties at Spirit or club exit in greenpoint.
