Portamento
Legato
some export long note and then draw a pitch curve to make it ascend or descend..
if you use the synth you just go up in tone to acsend or down in tone to descend..
though do you mean to descend a whole part of a track or just one sound? cause there is a effect called "Tape stop" that will slow down or speed up audio for you...
im sure someone will right me if im wrong or give better explaination
Cheers

it works like if you would slow down or speed up a tape, you know the slowdown effect.. or speed up..
but i think you mean the portamento parameter on a synth, it will speed up or slowdown the sound..
often used with legato for those acsending long buildup screams... that raise the tension for a climax! but also of course for descending, for breaks or whatever

here is tapestop.. try it as a insert on master out and you can make cool slowdowns, you can use it on any sound..
