i'm sorry but... is the main reaon FR bankrupted the bad music releases or is it the money owed by the distributors..?
someone who knows please clear this up...
(i mean if someone knows that they owe them money... enough money to close a label like FR..)

DAMN!!! this is a sad thing for the trance scene. This Label is one of the pioneers of the trance scene. I liked a lot of their releases. why are so many labels going down(actually i think i know the reason). Its very sad. Whats gonna happen to Planet Ben, Big Wigs etc.. where are they gonna go?

Another distributor went down on the UK couple of months ago 'Infectious' - mainly techno i think, but it may effect others - but i know our little label is gonna be effected by that:( bummer ! |

one of the first releases i bought was an old brown 12" !!! one of the first FLYING RHINOs !!!
In Portugal , on Vacation Mr. J. M told me that his Label is dead and now i´m very sad !

FUCK! there goes my fav. ! It's sad that the world is in money trouble. I wish we could live as free community, work for free, live for free....but the fat cats have us by out tongues..., an always will till we fight back....

James Monro is opening a new label that will continue the amazing FR legacy. As much as TIP "went down" and re-opened as TIP.World this is a common act to avoid debths and just declare bankrupcty, and then move on to something new.
Actually, FR started to drop down in sales 2 years ago already, when their A&R - Cass, left to start his own label, both James & Dom and Guss are more than busy in dj'ing and no one was left to hold the controls and the label started to release material that didnt refelect the true FR spirit.
Combine this, along with debths owed by distributors etc and you can realize why FR has ceased to exist.
True this is sad, this label had its glorious moments throughout the years but no bank or debth can stop talented people like James Monro and his posse from bringing more fresh and innovative music to the world.

Money won't stop talent. But bad energy will. I just hope that the flying rhynos took care to do their best to honor all their obligations to others that counted on them.
Oh, and I wish Mr. Monro will move his lazy butt and release an album already. Not enough real hypnotic music around for a while now. This seems like a good timing for it...
