The sound quality was very good... massive system for such a small place, although when S-range connected his laptop the volume droped and never really got up it probably was because of lack of pre-amplification (proenisxush) from the computer's side.
Jaia started his set nice played a lot of his new tracks and then progressed to play other music as well, the only song I really recognised (except for his) was a Vibrasphere remix. It was purely progressive albeit very nice, I danced a lot and had a really good time.
Towards the middle of his set he played a few not so good tracks, no energy and too much repetition, it was obvious in the crowd as well. He finished well though.
I was shouting: MAI MAI or BRAINSTORM but he didn't play any of the old Goa-progressive classics from blue energy.
We spoke a bit after his set and he told me that this was the kind of music he plays as a DJ and that's what he had agreed to play (Progressive not goa). He might play again live around xmas or new year and if plays live he'll play both new and old tracks.
S-range was good as well, nice melodic/techie psy typical of his style. I didn't stay until the end since I had to be in a seminar at 10 in the morning and wanted to get a couple of hours sleep.
Very good party overall, amongst the 2-3 best this year (although I really pick them nowadays....), lots of nice people, no pitsirikia and a lot of dancing and smiling, good atmosphere overall. |

Thanks "The Cube" for this really nice party. Very good vibes and nice music too. The only minus of this party (and generally of all of your parties) was the lack of nice decoration.
It's a pity that contrary to abroad, in Greece, organizers don't have the decoration of a party as a priority, even though it's an element that always influences the audience in a nice and safe way.... |
