technossomy = james monro and another guy (so is kundalini btw ) - played in that party as well, you should have seen what v.t.o.l did to the dancefloor... i think it was the first time i've heard that track played fully in a party... besides hearing a james monro retro set is really an experience, first time i heard it was when he played a vinyl set in ozora 2011 and man was it something else... getting all the fuziness and warmth of the old sounds AND on vinyl on a serious sound system, now that was some experience

ahh really? ..I had a very nice acid talk with James Monroe once in the 90's great positive guy.It was a bit of acid drenched I knew after that he has his mind in Flying Rhino but I probably lost the info that he's Technossomy. Coool music.. also on my very first vinyl (goa vinyl) ever First Flight- Flying Rhino a great tune of Technossomy is on it as well. I consider this compilation as the best in history. Simply fantastic tracks.

james is generally a really fun person, love his energies and the way he keeps smiling on the plates, seems he really likes his work (and who wouldnt ) - most of the times i got to see him he played his minimal/techno stuff, but i guess that in the last 2 years the drive to play his old stuff popped up you should really come to one of this prod's parties in israel if you get the urge to dance your ass off to great music you just hardly get to listen to these days... pretty soon the flights from europe will get close to the prices you pay to fly from spain to germany or so

TT - really nice posts, that ayahusaca track reminded me of the party 2 weeks ago in joti's set also the art of trance track is pretty much proto union jack sound and yeah first flight is most definitely one of the best compilations i can think of, well almost anything from flying rhino reeks quality

i had a long drive yesterday so i shuffled my goa collection and stumbled upon sounds i havent heard in a while and werent posted here yet

like the intensity of this track near the end:

now this track, i just love its drive and how it progresses and develops from start to finish - to me this is the definition of psychedelic:

and last for now or at least what i remember from my long drive is what i think you come to think of when trying to describe goa trance, at least at its early stages... bouncy 303's, synths flying in the background and one euphoric melody that culminates the track - age of innocence

what a tune seriously..!

in trance it s huge.. perfect for early morning in the forest..they defined a kind of psytrance with this.. when lisetning this i feel like nothing really new and worthy for the state of trance have been done since then.. useless candies , icing on the cake..makeups..
