Depends on what sound you are lokking at..

For clean sound take the sonnox and for colouring sound i would suggest the ones by colourtone..tritone and all those are really nice..

Or the Uhbik one by U-He is even very nice..

If you are designing the sound of your own Leads then you can think about how they wll fit into the mix at that stage and perhaps then need less EQ in the mix.

You have a choice of bell, parametric, shelf and filter.

No one can tell you what is the best flavour/brand to use. You have to work it out for yourself by using your own ears.

There are no short cuts to this.

Think about the question you have asked.

Sure about that?? Wves is way overrated and overpriced imo..

Sonnox eq is legendary..well sonalksys one is really good as well..but you just need different ones for different purposes..

so there is no best imo..best for what>?           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

well, i dont know if it is complety correct, but i try to make it this way...use a parametric eq in the frequencies of the main note...for example a lead with main note G, i will put parametric eq in 784hz and 1568hz..even in kick i do that, detect the note, and add a parametric to the frequency, for ex. G note in kick --parametric--49hz
