X-Dream/Delta/Spirallianz r the leaders of the tech-trance sound for sure ... as for the newcomers i vote for Opsis & Manibus . Panagiwti & Nicola keep on making monsterous productions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've probably got a vastly skewed view of what exactly consistutes 'techtrance' but when I think of this title, here are some artists I appreciate:
Navajo (!)
Overlap/Neoris
Tetraktys
M.O.S.
Qlap
Boo.ReKa
Spirallianz/Midi Miliz
Mel.ler
Nuclear Ramjet
Thomas Krome (goes v.well with psychedelic!!)
Mainly what I don't like is techtrance with weak or subtle kicks... if its gonna be tech I want to hear the crackle of bass exploding all over the place; thick, full sounds - not the sort of aimless groove stuff. But thats all personal preference. |
