| i agree
a lot of money on nothing.
better spending it on pro speakers .
and if disturb your grandma with the noise at night any headphones will do.
anyway they will only decieve you and the final judge is the speakers

dang, so basically if you have good monitors there is no need to spend money in headphones ? it would be no use huh

thats not really thru for me, if i had to start from the begining first things i would get is a mbp ,a converter and a headphone then buy monitors and acoustic treatment at the same time.for the price of a dt 880 or 990 you get a lot for what you pay for ,low end translate even better than on my adam p22 or focal cms 65 and they cost 200 euro .in the end i think you need both good monitors and headphone but i ll get headphone first insteed of saving money for months for the monitors and do nothing serious all that time.
i suggested converter first cause using one of these headphone with a bad heaphone output from a computer sound like crap |

Yes, they are absolutely great!
Best way to use headphones is with low volume when mixing (tiny way), there is no better room you can get than that around 300 euros. You hear dynamics so deep and clear with the highend headphones. But its easy mistake to mix everything too muddy with headphones if you using them too loud.
I think when you learn to use headphones right way you get more detailed mix and you have more room to fill things. Problem is if you go too tiny sounds are not so natural when playing from speakers.
So you need to own both, good headphones and speakers, especially if you have no money to buy perfekt room. |
