Hi,

Can we invite you guys here to share your opinions with us at Morpheus?
We have a poll that informs our monthly charts where all visitors are encouraged to vote.

Recently we've added a number of artists/albums thanks to recommendations from this very forum. We'd very much like the charts to reflect the views of visitors here at Isatrance.

We'd be really grateful if you'd like to pop over and check a few voting boxes - not only that - if we've missed your favourites tell us.

Cheers

Thanks for trying Further - there was a blip yesterday but it's sorted now.

Thanks for the suggestions - I'll get down to those ASAP.

By the way Abatwa - if you read this post again - would you suggest key albums for any of those artists? I'm familiar with most of them, but not so much so that I would be able to choose.

Hi Morpheus,

I didn't find too OTT, with his album "Blumenkraft".
And Shpongle, indeed, with "Are you shpongled" and "Tales of the Inexpressible".

Would I dare to propose... Asura, too?
With "Code Eternity" and "Lost Eden"?

asura for sure

hm for brian eno - music for airports (or basically the whole ambient series is nice, most his albums are some of the best, but the ambient series for me is special)
leftfield - leftism
klf - chill out
biosphere - Autour de la Lune, cirque, Microgravity hard to decide
Bill Laswell & Pete Namlook - Psychonavigation
adham shaikh - fusion
gaudi - Bass Sweat And Tears
jairamji - kindered spirits

all personal.           `Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end` Mandelbrot

Thanks again - I've added what I think to be the most popular albums by those artists ....will gladly add more by request.

They're now up and available to vote on.

Some are in the main charts - some in the new releases/new suggestions poll.

Thanks for the votes.
Is Kindred Spirits generally the recommended Jairamji album?

Perhaps the other I saw was an EP or something.

Anyway - we've updated our charts and Entheogenic seem to be shooting upwards.

Thanks.

The hope is that the charts will reflect what the listening public enjoy.
It's not a chart based on sales like most others - simply on what you're enjoying this month.

We update the charts roughly monthly and reset the polls to zero (the overall totals are into thousands).

We're keen to keep new releases coming in - but to put them alongside long-term favourites in a fair way.

We started off mainly focussed on worldbeat music but over the past couple of years we've inculded a lot more ambient and then ambient trance and chillout.
Gradually the charts are coming to reflect this.
