u have my full suport and i dig ur stuff and have been for long time.

no kriz, i dont think he goes to the wrong parties, until last year most of the time of festivals the people i or we like where gone and thats true. still a lot of smaller very nice parties and festivals exist but the whoremongers did and do their job good |

So what is the real problem with the trance scene again? Music for e-tards or Ocelot not playing the big parties? I'm confused. 
Seriously though, there is a new generation filling the dancefloor right now. Them people missed the good ol' days and there is not a big enough number of threads/posts, on here, that will change their minds. They like what they like and its like only 0.0001% of them that bother to read the stuff that is being said on isratrance.
With time they will grow up and grow out of the cheese fest that is filling the big slots in festivals and a new generation of people will replace the ones whose first experience with trance music was Duvdev singing, thus changing the "demands" of big festival music...although there is always people like Tristan, Serge, Dimitri...etc playing the big slots, so even if its not all good, there is still what I call, proper psychedelic trance being played.
What will the new generation be like? Fuck knows, and personally I don't care, as there have been and always will be good parties to go to.
This is my subjective point of view as making trance tunes is not the job that pays my bills, nor do I ever wish for it to be... that way I can make music I like without being frustrated about not getting any bookings.

i dunno what kinda fests/parties you guys go to, but ill take ozora 2009 as an example for a relatively large festival (the largest in summer 2009?) - take a look at the lineup - how commercial was it? imo not at all... what kinda music was played? all kinds! what kind of music attracted most people? (hint - it wasn't the "dark" trance nor the tiny bit of cheese some artist or two played) - and the most important factor for me - the crowd - anything from 18 year olds to 60 year olds (and the occasional kid here and there ) were colorfully digging their freaky asses all over the green pastures of ozora...
yes theres alot of shit spewed out from every hole in the globe, but most of it doesnt hit the fan
bottom line like tsabeat said - pick your parties carefully, theres plenty of good stuff around

I always prefer(red) when Ralph and Jay played together as Rastaliens, and were much more fun to VJ with as the pair than just Ralph....
