Tracklist:
1/Empty Dot
2/Black Jack
3/Camouflage
4/Paranormal
5/Saiko Lake
6/Explorer
7/Dr Magneto
8/3rd Wave
9/Analog Activity (edit mix)
According to Serge (Souque, formerly Total Eclipse member) , himself, in a french magazine interview, this album was more tek-house oriented and btw confirmed the buzz about Close Encounters.
Indeed, after listening to it, i don't find it so much tek-house influenced except on Saiko Lake & Dr Magneto.
For the rest, i must admitt that's pretty cool melodic dancefloor stuffs, not the kind of things that you dream all along your sleep (not the best stuff of 2002 i mean) but quite effective.
By moment the kick is fat, stomper rythmic in Empty Dot , Camouflage,Paranormal & Explorer, reminding me the second album of Necton 'Children Of The Noizy Village'.
Nevertheless, the second part is less exciting (tracks 6 to 9).
After all, not so bad, need to be checked (if not already done) despite the bad rumour about a total cheesy tekhouse album from Serge which isn't exactly the case.

I loved this album, this one is a very psychedelic, very musical, groovy and fun, well produced, and NOT working by any formula, which is more than refreshing. At first I liked Paranormal the best, then Explorer, and recently I just dig 3rd Wave. An album that has a lot of relistening value.
