Anyone who knows how to create the caracteristic full on 'bloppy squeek' sound ?
It´s in almot every alien project song, and spacemonkty uses a even more squidged version that sound more 'wet'.
If you´ve heard it you´ll know what sound i mean!  |

hehe good point! Maybe he is a member of the Israelic/europeic psychedelic patch and midi pool for artists, where the non creative artists can swap patches and grooves.. I have heard is such thing, and it would not surprise me! |

You can make this sound with nord lead very easilly, if you've got one. But, it has been so overused that there is no point using it any more. |

Amen EYB.
Something I enjoy about hiphop is the constant use of 'retro' sounds in new ways.
it's not the sound that counts, but how it SOUNDS - in the context of your work.
I could have all new synth sounds and write a boring song, or have all old sounds and write a kickass track.
Granted, this is all my opinion. Frankly I don't care if I've heard a sound before so long as the track is well produced and makes me want to dance.
Isn't that what dance music is about?

hmm - hard to say exactly what kind of a sound your talking bout.
but i would guess your talking bout a saw wave with a pitch envelope - mess about with the ADSR settings, and the cutoff/res
