Afro Celt Sound System have done 3 CDs and are a mixture of celtic & african music - I really like the first two but the third is a bit too polished. Still - its amazing music and they are great live - I'd thoroughly recommend them.
Two of their tracks have also been remixed by Mark Sinclair (Pendragin - UK) into thumping trance tracks and are f**king brilliant - two of my fave tracks ever - Inion and Riding the Waves. Haunting celtic melodies with banging trance behind it.
Seeing Brixton Academy ( a Pendragon a few years ago with 4000 ravers) take off when the Inion remix was played was quite a sight...
