A quick search on Kayak.com netted a roundtrip flight for $368 from San Diego to XNA airport (Fayetteville) on American Airlines.

yeah i checked that, but it aint gonna work because i cannot leave san diego until after 6 pm on Friday the 27th and need to leave early morning sunday to get back in time to be at work on monday morning. Everything I found was in the morning.
i just started a new job in april so i have absolutely no vacation time to spare right now. I'm planning on asking for a week off unpaid to hit burning man and I can't push it with my new boss.
so, i have to leave friday night, take a redeye flight, play my set and enjoy the festival for a few hours, then find a ride back to the airport to get home.
by the way, there's still no response on the shuttles. Anybody organizing this thing catch my question?

yeah those are the worst times to fly..
I really doubt there will be a shuttle from Tulsa, most likely will be XNA. Tulsa is pretty far from Eureka Springs ~3 hours?
Springfield, MO looks closer, what about flights there? Or what about Branson, MO? Maybe a ride could be arranged.

There hasn't been any mentions of a free shuttle for the artists...
We are trying to organize bus shuttles from local airports based on where they are needed most. they will likely not be running continuously, rather there would be scheduled departures a few times per day on the busiest travel days. But these would be paid shuttles, just FYI.

Tom, I think in your case, a ride may have to be arranged. May be worth it to spend an extra $50 to fly to XNA if that saves 2 hours of driving each way to and from Tulsa.

Thank you for the info Megan, this will make planning a little easier. Lets pray to the Universe that prices will drop as a rental car will have to be added into the equation. Oi Vey!!!!

Anyone from Chicagoland area want to share a ride? I'd like to leave Friday evening and be back in Chicago Monday night.
