texurerich bassline (how to..?)

So, im in love with this new Røyksopp track - vision one, and wonering how to program that texturerich bassline?? is it modulated granular synthesis, LFOs connected to filtercuts or what?

Seems to me like a free running filter or another synth on top of the bass... pretty nice sound.

I'm probably wrong but it sounds like a layered bass. At least one doing the classic low bass sound, and the other sounds like low note saw with lowpass filter with lots of res.

portamento + modulated filter with res+ waveshapper /distortion? This is a nice track, I love Royksopp, saw them live a few years ago, great music.

sounds like a real bass guitar... and there is a synthline on top of it...dunno how its made, but real sweet synth sound anyway.... looks like they are using a korg ms20 .. I really like the korg sound...


So you might try the korg legacy collection, it has a korg ms20 emulation

Krakli's free S3K synth has this sound in the factory bank.
