Nope got eliminated after two and a half hours 400 out of 560 if i remember correctly from the first day of the tournament.Lost with a set from a flush if i remember correctly.

Actually an American Court ruled that Poker in general is neither a sport or a game but a profession since it was proven on court that luck has little to do with poker so one could claim that he is a pro poker player who plays poker for a living.
The whole thing started from a tax issue against a player who declared making a living from gambling which is illegal in most USA states.
Unfortunately in UK another guy was not that lucky in convincing the court

I Brazil their saying that Texas Hold'em is not a luck game, but a skill one, just like you said.
In Brazil, it's ilegal to bet on games.
So lawyers are pleeding that Texas Hold'em is a Knockout game, with chips having no commercial value and that the winner is the one with the highest amount of chips.
So it's not actually a money bet.
Hoever, cash game tables are prohibited.
