Hi guys,
I've recently started to make a cubase midi panel for my DSI TETR4 and faced a few problems:
1 - Every time I try to use the tetra filter frequency on cubase (either physically from the TETR4 or via midi through cubase) Im faced with only having an audible range of 37-164. Neither TETR4 or cubase let me go under 37. the only way to go back to 0 is if I physically change the program on the TETR4.
Now, the filter Frequency on the TETR4 synth has a valid range of 0-164, can It be changed to 0-127?
(Or can you think of another way to solve this problem?)
2 - When using multi mode with 4 individual monophonic channels I've noticed that changing a parameter on the TETR4 affects all the channels.
Is there a way to affect individual channels?
3 -Also in multimode Brightness and Aftertouch are very unstable. If I use brightness on channel 1, channel 2 will also be affected same appends with channel 3 and 4. Aftertouch reacts in diferent ways for each track.
Here is the link for the Panel download:

If you have a TETR4 you are welcome to use it, as long as you dont use the Frequency, Aftertouch and Brightness controls you should be alright.
If I ever solve this problems Ill put up the full working version.
P.S.- Please don't advise me to get the soundtower editor because it works terribly on win 7 64bit and I can't use it when cubase is open.
Something else:
I've tried to use a formula on the x value <control value (7bit)> winch gave me the desired result but it stoped transmiting or recieving signal. I've heard there was a bug with the x value that might be why.
I forgot to mentionate that Im using CC parameters only cos I dont know how to use sysex messages.
Please help if you can.
Big Thanks in advance. |
